I am a 4th year Ph.D. Candidate in Computational Media at University of California, Santa Cruz, working with Dr. Christina Chung.
My research lies in the intersections of Personal Informatics, everyday practices (e.g., food practices), and life events (e.g., relocation, pandemic) in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer-supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), and Health Informatics.
As a researcher, I am interested in new ways that allow people to extend one’s range of understanding. My goal is to research these ways to foster better human-to-others (such as robots, virtual avatars, and other people) understanding and to enhance the relationship between humans and others. I am also interested in technology that allows individuals to extend their understanding of others and support one’s challenges in everyday activities.
